Mine came with some old ass EA sports titles, so technically I do have games for it. Just nothing I'd actually play. At least my 3DO came with Road Rash.

I've never beaten Mario 1...and I've owned the game since the 80s.
I also bought an AVS and I love it.

mah nigga. I'll postpone the lynching for not liking platformers. Unfortunately Rad Racer II is just more of the same and doesn't really offer improvements.

Do you hate all side scrollers or just mariolikes? Otherwise you could pick up Castlevania II, Faxanadu, & Zelda II, which are more RPGish.

Also consider picking up Star Tropics, which is a zeldalike.

Castlevania I is a level based game. I guess that makes it more mariolike than Castlevania II.

It's not a bad game or anything. In fact almost everyone says it's better than Castlevania II.

Despite having all the ROMs from torrents , a couple of Everdrives, and recently some Chinese bootlegs, I still want the real things but cannot afford them.

I've played very little /vr/ stuff, most of my experience coming from ps1 games. I'm only just this year trying to back up and play some SNES/Genesis games. The genesis I've had since the 90s. It was my dad's and about all we played was Golden Axe 2. I've only owned the SNES since 2013

I couldn't beat Mega Man 1 or 2 without save states

I'm autistic and only buy physical copies unless they're absurdly expensive

Not him but I played the GBC version growing up and I made it all the way to bowser and could never beat him. I picked it up I wanna say 2 years ago and beat it second try.

I want to get into a number of RPGs but I have no patience for them.

I also spend most of my time playing multiplayer stuff and rarely finish singleplayer.

I love Doom but I almost exclusively play online multiplayer wads made for modern sourceports.

I can beat Megaman 1 in my sleep, but have never been able to beat Super Mario Bros 1 even using 1-2 and 4-2 warps.
