How does /vr/ feel about the Lunar games?

I like the first one, don't like the second one. The second one forgoes a charming cast and instead puts a worthless bitch who can't even get off her ass to cast some spells in battle unless everyone else is dead. And the entire first disc is an escort quest with nothing else going on.

I haven't played the remake of EB but from your description it sounds incredibly different than the MegaCD version. I've heard from lots of people that the remake really shit the bed.

The first Lunar is my favorite story in a JRPG. Eternal Blue is really good too- especially the epilogue.

My brother got an advance copy of EB because he was writing game reviews at the time- it was still buggy when I first played it. But I beat it before anyone else was allowed to buy it- in the west :D (except the epilogue- it wasn't in the review disk)
