What an awesome game this was. Way ahead if it's time by a mile.
Really? How much is a mile?
why the fuck is this game going for $50
>>3722505
It's a NES game

>>3722505
True value. Great games never decrease in value.

>ahead of its time
>1991 NES release
I love the the game to bits, but let's not get carried away with meaningless shit like that.
>>3722505
Because it's fuckin great, man.
>>3722495
Japanese sentai version was cooler.

BeeeeCauuuuseeeee The GAME GRUMPS!
Also its now $62 the cheapest one.
Shatterhand is beyond amazing. Also check out Solbrain, the Jap version, which is quite different, easier but has a completely unique stage and many more differences; and also Choujin Sentai Jetman which I could swear runs in the same engine.
>mfw I realized you could push the Alpha/Beta blocks to choose your own power ups

I think he means compared to other NES games.
Technically speaking Shatterhand's graphics, be it stages, characters, animations, etc, are way better than Mega Man 6 while coming out at the same time as Mega Man 4.

>if it's
I want mobile posters to leave and stay gone.

It's a tax for morons who've never heard of flashcarts.
>>3722495
Why does Artie Lang have robot knuckles?
>>3723127
>calling others moron while falling for the flashcart meme
Lmao what a fucking idiot.

>by a mile
Gameplay-wise. Because graphics were NES tier. Gameplay was SNES/Genesis tier.
>>3723237
>Because graphics were NES tier
No shit
They're pretty good though. Quality late NES graphics. Not Gimmick tier maybe, but good nevertheless, pretty smooth and with nice colors and detail.

>spending thousands of dollars on games to play the same exact experience as carts
>>3722495
Not to mention that god-tier soundtrack.

>Way ahead if it's time
Come on anon, I love that game but it was released in 1991
Yes, it pushed the NES to it's limits, but at the time many 16 bit consoles had been out for a while.
>>3723848
Shatterhand plays, looks and sounds better than most early 16 bit games I can think of.

GOAT

I came here to link exactly this

>Yes, it pushed the NES to it's limits, but at the time many 16 bit consoles had been out for a while.
It came out at the same time as the Super NES was launched, so it was overshadowed by Super Mario World.

GI Joe also had a good soundtrack in my humble opinion

But this isn't a thread about Ji Joe

It´s kind of similar so I guessed it was alright.
