Does anyone know if the iQue SWIM controllers use a standard N64 plug? I've heard they're very comfortable to use.

Huh, they sure don't look comfortable to use, but it might be something you warm up to over time. Like I hated the Game Cube Ascii/Sammy Keytroller at first, and now it's my favorite when using that console.

I heard they feel a lot like an Xbox controller.
Those would crush tiny little gook hands
If this faggot knew how to shoot a fucking video maybe you could tell

I thought this was a plug and play deal, with all hardware built into the control. What's the base for? Just multiplayer?
Looks like it is possible, but not as straight forward as plugging it directly into the N64:

Yes, the main controller(light grey one) is a Plug and Play N64 with a few games built in, but the base is literally just a multi-tap converter for the iQue.

So, I just need to take an extension cord and switch two wires in it?

According to that guy's post no, it's just the same except without an expansion port. I don't know why he has the cable broken open in this pic though or if that pigtail is standard equipment. Maybe read more of that thread to get some confirmation.
He had this photo in his photobucket. The port looks the same even though the resolution isn't good. The pigtail isn't completely visible either but I think I see its connection peeking out

Then the only problem is finding a SWIM controller. This hardware seems unusually rare for what it was.
