Alright guys I've got a question. I'm trying to emulate Doom on my psp, however I'm running into the same annoying problem no matter what port I try.
Each damn port of Doom I've found doesn't let you configure the controls, and for some reason, people think playing Doom with an analogue stick that strafes forward and backward, but turns the camera left to right, is somehow playable.
Are there any PSP ports of doom with completely configureable controls, or AT THE VERY LEAST, uses the analogue stick to strafe, and the shoulder buttons to turn the camera?

You can try prboom via retroarch, you do need to add your own music which sucks but at least you can remap everything

I've always wondered how do you use R2 and L2 when playing PS1 games on the PSP?

They use the analogue stick by moving it left or right

Man I remember back in the day I played Doom on my NDS, d-pad would be my WASD meanwhile Y/A was my turn left and right. Sounds weird but it works wonderfully since you don't need to look up and down and there's aim assist.

You have complete freedom regarding L2 and R2, but by default you have PSP's analog left and right available to bind for L2 and R2. On the Vita, you can map corners of the touch screen or rear touch pad as anything you want.
