It's as good as mouse and keyboard right?

This game wasn't the same as the PC version, it's an exclusive Starcraft game made for the console, so it was made with the N64 controller in mind.

No idea if it's possible to play it with a mouse through some emulation shenanigans.

To give you a straight answer, it wasn't bad.
Functional, as I recall. Same with the C&C game for the N64. Had tonnes of fun with both.

Is it as good? Fuck no. Does it work? Absolutely.

it did have zone hot keys which was useful. it's also a hella old patch in terms of balance. Spawning pools are 50 minerals cheaper than they are suppose to be making ling rushes unstoppable in early game

only major difference is the inclusion of split screen multiplayer

I can't understand how this game was played 2 player. Split screen? Otherwise a ling rush would be useless against the computer.
