It's nothing like Zelda. It's just a musty old RPG that doesn't hold up. Even at the time it was greatly overshadowed by Phantasy Star II.

I've played it it's nothing like Legend Of Zelda it's more like Legend of Mana. The Genesis equivalent of Zelda is Crusader of Centy and if you want a contemporary game to LoZ check out Golvellius.

It's an interesting little game. I like it. Has next to nothing in common with Legend of Zelda, though. Dunno where you got that from. The Sega equivilent of Legend of Zelda is Golden Axe Warrior.

Looks really chinky. Jap games usually have horrible text and logos everywhere. The US version looks like a masterpiece oil painting. Sorry but the USA version is better, even with its stupid gridlines.

But yeah I agree, the US cover looks like a classic painting you'd find at a museum or something.
JP cover art looks like a generic dungeons and dragon thing, not bad but doesn't really stand out either.
