Every time I get into a battle in Xenogears, the music slows

Every time I get into a battle in Xenogears, the music slows down. Is there a way to stop this?

What plugins/ config did you use?

one of the audio out/async options should fix your issue since they deal with how the audio syncs.

Pretty sure it's just as slow, but now there is very loud static

Things seem to be fine when using the ePSXe GPU core 2.0.0 video plugin for some reason.

Even when everything is turned off and using minimum settings on PetesOpenGL 2.9, the music issue in battles doesn't change

every time i play epsxe i just google for emulating forums, you can find usually the best settings for common games.

i currently use version 1.90, my win10 machine doesn't like newer versions

And again, the music slowdown is not an issue when using the soft plugin.

I'd just use the soft plugin, but things are just too ugly. And using the 2x resolution in that gives some weird visual bugs to sprites. Fine for 3d games though

I guess I will just map F7 to my gamepad and switch to the soft driver whenever I'm in a battle...
