I've got an useless monochrome TV which I'd like to still use for some gaming. I'm thinking of throwing a raspberry pi or whatever sbc in it, and turn it into basically an oversized gameboy. What other retro systems or games would play nice on a B&W composite CRT?

Id' rather pull my eyes out that use a monochrome TV for anything

>not using it to play gameboy games the way the developers intended

I don't know, man. It's still a pretty decent screen.

A 13-inch black and white TV is a big step up from a 4-inch bw ultra portable.

Virtual boy games.

>4-inch bw
a 4-inch black&greenish blurry as fuck screen

Can the RasPi emulate Vertex?

Also, make sure you don't scrimp on the RF shielding. You're gonna need it.

*Vectrex
>>
>>3672049
Yes it does, tho I have no clue if it plays as good as the real thing since I've never played an actual vectrex.
>>
>>3672049
It's not possible to accurately emulate a Vectrex without a vector monitor, and at that point you might as well just get a Vectrex.
>>
>>3672650
Any crt tv can be converted into a vector monitor
Vector games are a perfect use for a b&w monitor
>>
>>3671998
I don't think that would work well.

it looks pretty cool to me
