I am more than happy. I just finished school and work is going to require me to move a lot. I thought I would be done playing retro games for the forseeable future because there's no way I can lug a CRT everywhere and android is sadly just a mess for emulation. I'm glad to know that a laptop with the right settings can reduce lag to the point where it dosent matter.

Its a mid-high range LG from about 5 years ago so its nothing special, but yeah, 240 scales to 720 quite nicely

Either use retroarch with Hard GPU sync set to zero and frame delay as high as it goes.... Or use standalone 32bit D3D emulators and disable vsync and run D3DOverrider to remove the tearing without added input lag. (Only works on 32bit D3D emulators so Nestopia and Snes9X/SnesGT etc work fine.

Good question, id like to know the answer too. An HD TV wouldn't have to scale the image from the nes classic since it's already 720p(assuming the TV is 720), so that should keep input lag down. If the input lag caused by the nes classic itself is close to that of what a PC/emulator would be then I can't see why not.

Okay, first off, that looks fucking horrible. Please play at the actual aspect ratio.

Secondly, you can beat him like that, it just takes getting used to. Your brain is just reacting earlier than it should. You're essentially over predicting punches, but the input lag makes your dodges accurate.

You actually were just getting too nervous about the next attack, so you would press the button early out of worry, and the input lag saved you.

Congrats, now try for real and see how far that gets you.

Beat it again then switch to real hardware and get plastered because you were just timing differently
