I enjoyed this. Its a bit of a ballache to play on ps1 but I managed to struggle through. Its cheap on steam.

Alone in the Dark is largely Lovecraftian themed. A bit less ancient ones, but the motif still makes an appearance.

Found out that in that unreleased arcade game you can literally use cancer as a weapon. I gotta try it out in MAME now.

I really want to like this game, but it's just too unforgiving without a guide. It plays out like Space Ace or Dragon's Lair. One QTE after another, and if you don't know what to do, you dead. I don't enjoy not being able to explore without random gotcha bullshit.

I mean, you're not wrong. It's difficult if you don't know what's up. But you can save at any moment.

Chains on a shambler is dumb. They are wild animals, and chaining one would be nothing because they can move through dimensional shift naturally.
