Snes emulation / Nedi shader
Does /vr play like this?

Absolutely disgusting. And yet, I'm sure this thread will accumulate 500 replies in no time.

That looks disgusting to be quite honest

Looks passable, but then again, you can take a screenshot at a specific part of the game where the filter doesn't suck and make it appear good. The rest of the game probably has a lot of imperfections here and there.

Let me guess, you are a plebian that uses ZSNES with nearest neighbor only
>>3661049
It looks pretty bad.
Filters will always fail, because different shapes will handle the smoothing differently. This is especially apparent between games.
The only way to properly upscale 2D game assets is to remake them at a higher resolution.
Shaders that don't attempt to smooth the content are the best way to go when playing on LCD. Otherwise, use a CRT.
left or right?

with integer scaling. looks only a bit better and the image got smaller, dunno why the rotors are missing on a screenshot.
I'm a hardware only autist so these threads are always surreal to me
I do think OP looks like eye cancer though

Middle of the road
>>3663579
looks unfiltered to me. what did you do?
>>3661049
Why do you keep making threads like this? What are you looking to accomplish other than shit up the board?
>>3663592
Nothing, it's just 2x through component. If you view it at 100%, you can see some analog goodness. Good middle point between shit looking analog and emulation being too clean.
