Does the SNES version of EWJ have noticeable lag, or is it just something wrong with my emulator/display/brain?

I remember them being identical, but it's been a long long time.

Lots of noticeable lags lately.
You'd have more luck trying the "It doesn't feel right on the Snes!" excuse.

No lag on a SNES/CRT. Lots o' lag on an android emulator. Little bit of lag on PC emulator.

I'm not even trying to rag on the game or start console wars, I'm trying to figure out why I'm apparently so much worse at it than the last time I played on Genesis. Supposedly the PC version of EWJ does have lag, or that's what some guy on GOG says.

If it's a modern computer it may be the slight difference in timing from input lag. Playing it on a real Genesis or snes is equally non-laggy. Maybe the PC version ramped up the difficulty

LCDs have lag. Emulators have lag, and for whatever reason, SNES emulators are particularly laggy. It adds up.

I get about the same lag for EWJ and SMW both on Snes9x GX. So, it's probably nothing to do with EWJ specifically. Some games just make the delay feel way worse.

I played some Super GnG and I was doing fine. I dunno, maybe I just suck.

But... anon... emulator lag is a myth! And anyone who disagrees is a reseller new, or something like that.
>>3662147
It bugs me too. I feel it less in ZMZ and Retroarch though
>>3662147
retroarch has hard gpu sync so try that and see if it helps.

The emulators on android are poorly coded works of shit which are riddled with bloat. That on top of an already bloated system just causes lag. Now, I am using a wireless ps3 control mind you which isnt the best when it comes to lag. Its definately fine for just playing RPG's or marios, but trying to play something that requires quickness such as the kirbys adventure duel minigame or mike tysons punch out....forget about it
