We're being outdone by an old, infrequently updated wiki run by those fucks at /v/
We need our own wiki, a better one.
this has been curated by reddit for some time. game charts are still the best, and the people at 8ch have been doing a great job making those charts.

No we don't. Just form your own taste. It's not like /vr/ will ever reach consensus on most games anyway.

>Form your own tastes
>Wade through thousands of shit games to find one you might like.
Better to be given recommendations, not everyone is such a sheep that they like everything they're told to play.
>>3660085
Why is this?
>>3660092
bad coding
>>3660091
The wiki also has thousands of shit game.
Not only that but it also includes inferior arcade ports of games that are much better played on MAME.

>run by those fucks at /v/
/vr/ isn't any better though.

>not everyone is such a sheep that they like everything they're told to play.
>therefore we need a wiki to tell people what to play
Did this actually seem logical to you when you wrote it?
Anyone with a real interest in retro games will be able to find stuff they like on their own, by researching games they like and learning about the companies and individual developers who played a part in making those games. People who research this way will ultimately be rewarded by finding things that fit their individual interests best, whereas those using a wiki will not.

More like those faggots at Reddit took over the /v/ recommended games wiki.
