A Mind Forever Voyaging
Myst
System Shock 1

Final Fantasy VI, not even riding the dick of the game but the story is pretty good

This and Xenogears.

If MGS is confusing to you then you must be legally retarded
>>3647695
You're actually saying that you interpreted me as claiming that the games mentioned have 'confusing' plots and that's why they are inferior? Woosh
>>3647695
No, he was saying you were confusing "plot" with "storytelling" i.e; mistaking one for the other or assuming they were interchangeable.

Crusader of centy

>dark, mysterious plot
>characters being fleshed out and story depth is directly proportional to how much time you're willing to commit to gameplay
>story still never bogs down gameplay
Yes.

It's the best story for a zelda's game.
Link's awakening is also fantastic.

it might be, but i think they should have made the game bigger. more dungeons etc.
OoT is way better in that way.

i think the timer should work as a constant timer.
it would be better if u only traveled in time through song, and no constant timer ticking.
if you traveled forward in time from the last day the moon hitting the earth animation could play, but you manage to escape right before the big fireball hits you.
it would make the same impact on the story, but you could have more freedom to explore.
That would go to Bubsy 3D

>OoT is way better in that way.
Somewhat. It's a shame the overall quality of dungeon design in both games mostly came off as mediocre however.

List some games that have better dungeon designs.
