Hey /vr/. I'm not sure where else to post this so I'll just put it here.
I bought a copy of the unlicensed Tengen version of Tetris for NES from Value Village. It looked to be in good condition and they priced it surprisingly cheap ($30), so I thought I might as well pick it up.
Unfortunately I can't seem to get any kind of response out of it. When I put it in my NES I just get a black screen. I have 3 other unlicensed Tengen cartridges and my NES tends to have issues reading them, but by fiddling with the position and pressing the reset button repeatedly they'll all eventually work. With this one, nothing works. At one point I was able to get a flash of some glitchy garbage onscreen but that was it.
I polished the contacts thoroughly but that didn't do anything.
Here are some pictures of the board. Can anyone see anything obviously wrong?

>people still playing full price for games they can't test and that have no warranty
If they can't prove it works, or promise your money back if it doesn't work, why would you agree to pay the going market value for it?

OP not sure how to fix your problem, maybe try disabling the 10NES chip? You could try probing all the traces with a millimeter to see if a connection is broken. Or try another system to see if anything changes? Does your NES normally boot games first go, if not maybe scrub your internal connector
