It's basically Bonk, in musical insect form! Pretty good, at least the 32X one. The Saturn on isn't really as much of a game as an interactive cartoon, pretty good but quite shallow.

That said I marathoners the Bonk games like a year ago and I remember basically nothing distinguishing about them. Tempo is more memorable.

Similar to how I wouldn't tell people to play EVO or Kid Kool if they liked Mario or Bonks. Again a different type of playformer.

Level design was not very good. The candy powerups felt pointless. Music was not all that. Reused many graphics/assets from Revenge. Overall felt like an uninspired game.

I think his moveset is much more fitting for a puzzle/exploration platformer like Yoshi's Island.
So, while I enjoyed his game and definitely the individual elements and it's unique charm/character, I do think something is missing.

I used to have a copy of B.C Kid for the GameBoy that I would play non-stop. I think my parents got rid of it or I lost it because I haven't been able to find it for years. Great game

I could never get very far in the Bonk games as a kid.
Downloaded some kind of game pack that had them and some other shit but I should pick bonk back up

Does that explain why Bomberman can suddenly jump in that one and only game? There's so very little info on this, I only JUST found out this year. Ultra Genjin 64 as it was known over there, apparently made the switch to Bomberman because Hudson felt Bomberman would garner more worldwide appeal. Were they right? I'm not entirely sure.
