If you could decorate your rooms with some retro style art, which games would you choose from?
For me:
Robotron
Quest for Glory 1
Lock 'n' Chase
Metal Storm
Zeliard
Silpheed CD (Sega CD)
.
Ignore Rich.
I plan to theme/decorate my game room based on Kingdom of Zeal.

Duke Nukem 3D's stripper bar.

I actually prefer to decorate with oil paintings.
I have enough game stuff. My entire collection is cased in universal game cases, disc based stuff is CIB. I have a Neo-Geo MVS, I have Capcom CPS2 carts, Neo Geo games in Shock boxes, some MonHun Statues and some Collectors edition statues.
That's more than enough. I don't need the game room's motif to be game related.
When you get older, you start to value a more "adult" or conservative neutral space.
But do whatever, I know a guy that has his bedroom wall to ceiling (including cieling) plastered with various comic book posters and he's like 35 so whatever.

Doom
Hexen
Heretic

SNES:
Castlevania's
Ghouls n Ghosts
Demons Crest
Not quite retro but I do have a Sam & Max poster and framed print in my room.

Your parents must be so disappointed with all you man babies.
A room done in Super Metroid graphics would be fine too.

>If you could
I can, and I choose not to. The only thing that I would even consider is some retro-related illustration, just like the other anon said, it's nice to have a more neutral space, with some art like paintings and what not. I don't want my apartment to look like a game store, there's already enough gaming stuff around like my consoles and crts.
I'm actually planning to make a mosaic tiles for my second bathroom reprising the very first level of Super Mario, it would be used primarily by my daughter and she adores the original (cause my wife loves it too). Every tile a pixel, sort of.
Already did a garden table with Mario sprite made by small tiles,

did someone say tiles? go on
Retro marketing only. No way I'm putting pixels up on my walls. Bead sprites and shadow boxes look awful.

My apartment is above a business on what is one of the more main streets in my city and I want to do that post-it sprite art on my windows.
I have 4 windows facing the street so I plan to do an FF1 party.
It sounds super tacky, but I hope maybe it'll make people smile.
I wouldn't mind mario 64 skybox Wallpapers, maybe the Wet Dry World one.

Always fun when someone makes sweeping judgments about you based on minor things.
