It's up to you to decide, I personally think they were but the general message was that Ashley had to chose what to believe in and trust his own feelings since he didn't have any proof or record of his own life, and his last vision was that Tia and Marco were indeed his wife and son, considered the circumstances it's highly possible they were the genuine articles, but it's still open to interpretation.

I like it that way though, Ashley chose the past he held dear to him and kept him the most "human", it's a bit like VOTOMS.

Is it possible to play Vagrant Story on the PSP? Since it lacks the L2/R2 buttons I mean. Do I need those? I can't play Tekken because of that.

yeah it's a pretty slow-paced game. you can use the thumbstick or d-pad as the R2/L2 buttons if needs be, which works out because I'm pretty sure those buttons just rotate the camera
