They were like "meh just throw some American shit together and call it a day", I remember a lot of 80/90s Asian inspired American media mixing shit together that doesn't make sense.

Like 4 "ninja" turtles that didn't hide, wore bright colored disguises, and none of them even used weapons adequate for a ninja.

Not even the katana, that blade is too long and heavy to conceal and sure as fuck never dual-wielded.
