Just beat this for the first time, this is the genesis' LTTP imo.

>music
>characters
>companions
>comfy top down view
>many spells at your disposal
>story
>and oh, so much more
This is now in my genesis top 10.

I haven't played that, but in general all of the "bad" games that EA did for Genesis are still kinda neat even if they're a little crude.
Anyway, Metroid 2 and Link's Awakening are my favorite games in their respective series and have been since I was a kid. Nowadays those are supposed to be the hipster contrarian choices but it's still my real opinion.
