You have authority in this matter if people give you that authority by BELIEVING in your authority. With the VGA that still isn't the matter as only a few retards actually give a fuck about those "certificates" but still as far as certifying retro games it is still the biggest most "serious looking" entities there are, basically saying "We have experts that can grade your game's authenticity and condition. We totally don't throw three darts and multiply the sum until it first is higher than the lower grading you paid us for (did we mention that higher payment makes our experts look at your game super duper hard which gives you a chance of 90+ grading?).
