About a decade ago I went on a mega mega man binge. Playing every single mega man I could emulate.

7 was the ONLY one that I didn't like outside of the battle network series.

But, to each their own, I guess. Mind telling me what about 7 made it good in your eyes? Because I clearly never saw it.

What's wrong with the Battle Network series? Some entries were a bit hit-and-miss, but 2 and 3 are some of the best RPGs on the GBA.

This BS excuse again. There's not much distinguishing megaman from the standard platformer to begin with, and BN has its two most distinctive trademarks worn on its sleeve: ability copying and the rock paper scissors cycle. It's a lot more of megaman game then legends and zero 1 ever were.

Not my favorite, but i could agree with that.
A new take on a different consoled, a story fleshed out "just a little bit more" than usual, Bass, all the secrets you had around, weapons playing a bigger roll on the terrain and even powering bosses if you weren't careful... Not as fast-paced as the NES ones, but a good entry overall.

I understand that 2 is technically the better game, but I really enjoy the simplicity and difficulty of SML.

I also believe that Mega Man VII was a lot better than people give it credit for. The bigger sprites never impact gameplay and the end result looks really good.

it's not that it's bad, it's that literally no one has played it. Probably also because it never got a PC port

Shame, as it's basically the N64's Half Life

Despite its flaws, MM5 is a personal favourite.

Mega Man 8 is my favorite in the series
