Recent Pick-Up Thread

I've bought shittier games than that just because they were a dollar. The Addams Family on Game Boy is the most recent example.

I bought an as-is N64 from a pawn shop for $10. It didn't have any cords, but it works no problem. It just needs a bit of cleaning.

Agreed. I would of probably paid $5 for a boxed Thunder Blade tBh. I find that these "Play 'n' Trade" franchises have the oddest pricings. Most things are overpriced to grossly overpriced(saw a used Other M game for $35) while sometimes you find deals(mostly obscure games) cheaper then you could anywhere else.

Pretty much. Even if the cart shell is in shit condition but the board is working fine $1 is a steal.

That is a really shitty game. I wouldn't buy it for a dollar.

This is my haul from a couple weeks back. I said "screw it" and ponied up the 20 bucks for Castlevania III since it's always been one of my favorite NES games.

Best pickups I've had recently were Mike Tyson's Punch Out for 14 dollars and Clash at Demonhead for 10, from two different pawn shops.

Arcade version is amazing. Genesis version not so much, but is still better than all the other ports except x68000.

I can't really tell if the guy I buy my games from uses repro stickers. Some of them look too good for a game 20+ years old.is there any way in general to tell? Here are some of the games.

In your opinion, should people selling retro games charge the market price for games with repro stickers? Most of his games are at or below what you would find on eBay.
