Jacquio is a real bitch. If you aren't in the air when he releases his fireballs they are much easier to dodge. If you can beat 6-2 you can beat Jacquio.

I've beaten him with sword only, but usually I'll just die and re-do the stage to get my fire wheels back and that'll take him out no problem. Just run opposite his direction and shoot him. It also helps if you love the final stage. Once you can breeze through it without taking too much damage you feel like such an invincible badass.

IMO the controls were more fucked in NG3 too. I'd always encounter this thing where you try to jump right/left and Ryu will, but be facing the wrong way and the jump is way slower, often making you get hit or fall in a pit. You had to be very deliberate with your jumps in that one, a lot moreso than the others.

Every single FF final boss. That's why i have never finished a game.
