I was never a fan of this game. The level designs were pretty boring and it was just a typical 2D Platformer. You probably like this game, because you grew up with it.
Sonic and Mega Man are better platformers than this

Disregarding the throwaway comment accusing of nostalgia goggles, you could maybe go a little more in-depth as to why you think that is, instead of just being inflammatory on purpose. Just saying it was a typical 2D platformer is too broad of a description.
I mean, it would be interesting if you could actually provide a solid argument as to why you think a universally acclaimed game is somehow worse than Mega Man or Sonic. Bait be damned.
