Thoughts on Game Boys?

a GameBoy/Color/Advance clone with SCPH-1080 buttons would be golden as fuck.

THATS NOT HOW THE FACE BUTTONS ARE LAYED OUT ON NINTENDO CONSOLES FUCKING FAGGOT.

Holy shit OP, what model is this? It made me feel like holding it the moment I clicked the pic.

I presume it's what they call a Game Boy Macro. People rebuild them from Nintendo DS units that have had the top screen broken off and some of them are quite elaborately customized.

its just a 3d render some pajeet mocked up in CAD class, no one can afford to do plastic injection of that detail at low quantity, 3d printing doesn't allow flat surfaces that aren't complete trash still. if you wanted to get creative you could do a die cast unit but void free aluminium in a garage is still quite hard to do.

It's a render

That said this guy seems to be getting good results just using epoxy, and he's charging $130 a pop ($110 if you supply the broken DS)

except it is, at least all plastics, good luck finding affordable machine time on a metal printer, you might as well build a injection die at that point
>never heard of LSR
top kek >LSR >good for structure or details
you might as well have suggested chewing gum
>assmad because he's failing CAD class
i passed CAD class back in 2007 nigger
>sits next to a guy named Pajeet who's acing the class
i did sit next to a pajeet, he was terrible, ended up making so many design faults(unmachinable/castable structures) that they pity passed him
honestly, die cast aluminium shells with an additional cost to have them post machined for details would be the best option, you're looking at $500 setup costs to do it in a diy machinists garage, they could also be sand blasted for a semi decent finish but would require paint to look acceptable and to improve the surface feel(since aluminium will always feel cold)
wow the nintendo switch is looking p good

Seriously, why couldn't Nintendo give us something like this over the 3DS/WiiU/Switch?
Just make an absolute powerhouse of a handheld games console, focus on an excellent library of games and give it that retro styling and solid Nintendium casing we'd all love.
