Still have my copy. I remember buying it at Funcoland. I don't think I ever beat Oda Nobunaga at the end.

Also, I was just playing Gemfire the other day. SNES version.

Does anyone else mostly like these games but find the combat boring as shit?

I bought Inindo from a video store for $5 when they were selling snes games to make room.
Must've been around ps2 time... maybe n64, I don't recall.

I tried it once that night and had no fucking idea what was going on.
Haven't tried it again since. I got to play ot on of these days.

You can actually talk about non-retro installments of a retro series or a retro developer within the correspondent thread.
The problem is when people bitch about "why isn't my childhood retro yet!?", but plenty of times /vr/ discusses non-retro games, in the context of the game being related to retro franchises and in the correct thread.
I mean, look at the SaGa general for example.
