Because you might as well emulate on anything else by that point. DSi with an Everdrive or PSP are much better options. It also makes you look like a child who can't even leave the house without playing Pokémon.

I feel like you bought a controller for your phone and now have to find a reason to justify a shitty purchase. Phone emulation is laughably bad. PSP and DS with Everdrive are decent ways to emulate.

My Boy!, Snes9x EX (bad sound emulation for SOME games but runs faster), FPSE, Snes9x EX+, NES.emu, Retroarch (cores: Final Burn Alpha, Genesis Plus GX, Picodrive, PocketSNES) My OldBoy!, Tiger Arcade, MAME4Droid (0.37 romset), PCE.emu, Drastic, MD.emu, PSPocket (using psxperia tool).
Cool thing about retroarch is that it lets you crop the borders of the screen to compensate for overscan via the custom aspect ratio option, for instance, snes yoshis island or mario rpg black borders.

I don't have any CRT in the house anymore, but I had bought a moga for my gearVR.

I never intended to use it for emualtion, but I had a spare note 3 with a 64gb SD card, and that works well enough. 3300mah in the phone plus the controller gives it an extra 2200mah, and you can charge it all while you play if you want.

I have a comfy reading chair beside my fireplace with an awesome blanket that I mostly use for Vita gaming, but pic related can be pretty comfy as well. I would never bring this outside the house.
