I'm not huge into baseball buy the later MLB Power Pros games that made it over here were pretty fun.
Has there ever been a fanslation of the retro Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū games? Or anything along those lines?
I love the Mario Golf and Tennis RPGs, stuff like Survival Kids was fun. I couldn't really get into the Legend of the River King series mostly due to it just being a really clunky primitive game (I only tried the 2 GB games), but what are your favourite non combat based RPGs /vr/? I'm looking for something fun to play!
Non combat RPG general I guess?
For the Frog the Bell Tolls

Enix had a Soccer RPG released in the 32bit consoles. "Become the coach for the national team" or something.
This count? It's not really much of an rpg but it's most people would consider it one

This was a great game! I grew up playing Link's Awakening so as soon as I heard there was a fanslation I was right on that!

I'll take a look out for that, thanks anon. I've heard there were some soccer games that I wouldn't mind playing.I don't hate Inazuma Eleven but that's not retro.

I guess, I loved HM2 on the GB. It's kinda RPGish, no?Even if the series is totally made redundant by Rune Factory.
Battle Golfer Yui. No actual battle.
I think golf pro Saru also has an RPG in it's numerous titles.
Neither have been translated, last I checked.

The captan tsubasa series is a soccer RPG that's run from NES to SNES to DS.
I think there's some fan translatons.
I had some problems because I didn't know the series well, so having a guy conk out from heart disease for example was unexpected.
