Hey guys, my friend got me a copy of Mario Kart 64 today, the sticker is faded which is normal however the seal of quality's text is extremely hard to read and seems a weird off yellow. I've been collecting for the console a while but I've never seen a seal this odd shade, I'm willing to bet it is just faded however this just seems worse than I've ever come across.
Opinions?

Also back of cart in case you wanted to see it.

It just looks poorly maintained and old.
It looks legit to me. The fading was probably just caused by exposure to sunlight.
I actually haven't heard of N64 bootlegs. Is that a thing?
Check the board. Post pictures of it.

I'm afraid it's something much worse than a bootleg, anon...

I do have a N64 bootleg cart, but it looks extremely cheap. it's a bootleg of Shadows of the Empire I bought back in the day. It doesn't even boot on the N64 without a special bypass cart that's also used to play japanese games.
But yeah I'd say OP's cart is legit. N64 bootlegs were rare, and extremely obvious.
