Can I play games on this? 5".
How The Devs Intended Itâ„¢
Why would you do such a thing
>select source
>TV / VIDEO
I don't see why not
If it has the appropriate inputs, sure, you CAN, though I don't see why anyone would want to save for using it as a test bench display.
Embrace simplicity.
>>3551292
Whats the model number of that JVC?
What inputs does it have?
>>3551296
TM-A101G
I have played games in one of those.
>>3551268
>2003
>tiny tubes were going for $10~25
>the $25 models had both S-Video and Composite with L and R audio
>have $100 total in allowances
>don't buy one because I got my larger JVC and who the fuck wants to play on tiny screens anyway?
>here I am today, 25 years old, fighting for space with the rest of my garbage wishing I had a smaller CRT
>>3551330
>no RGB or component
Not worth it. S-Video is the bare minimum of acceptable, and it isn't even that good.
>>3551317
Very nice.
do u guys think you're cute with your tiny screens
ffs why
>>3551268
My fucking phone is bigger than that. What's wrong with you?
>>3551268
you call that small?
>>3551450
Well how about this piece of trash?
>>3551268
I dunno, can you?
>>3551268
Not until after you cleaned your room, mister!
>>3551284
I think the video input is for home videos, the side has a pullout eject sign on top
>>3551268
probably
>>3551856
probably
if they have a/v in its optimal, if they have ext. ant. its doable.
You need a stereo female rca to stereo 3.5mm cable for a/v input. on mine white was video and red was mono audio
if it only has ext. ant. input you need a type f to 3.5mm adapter and a rf modulator.
If you're buying a new pocket tv make sure its a tft display and at least 2.5".
As long as it has some sort of input, you can definitely play games on it.
>>3552206
>LCD
>>3551335
I have a JVC with S-Video, Composite and SDI only. I'm thinking of selling it for this reason.
>>3551268
Does this have connectors on the back for a battery? I think my dad had one of these.
>>3552257
>>3551335
>being this retarded
I want a nice 5"-9" CRT so bad. If someone wants to trade for my 14" Sony PVM, hit me up.
>>3552206
Hory shit my casio tv cannot even compare.
Gotta get a Citizen next time when ebay scouting, since I need a clear display for a portable single-board computer terminal.
>>3552776
>mono sound
>puking_compilation.webm
>>3551404
because they're cute
>>3552206
I fucking remember having one of those.
My parents had to take us with them to really boring places when school was out, and they'd usually hand us this, and my brother and I'd sit on the ground watching FOX Kids.
>>3552910
>>3552935
You too huh? I actually have 2, the picture is the one in better condition; bought it at a garage sale for $3 in elementary school, but a few years down the line I accidentally snapped the antennae tip. Still worked fine, but my parents bought me a backup for christmas. The ST755 and ST760 are pretty close looking, the main difference being the 760 has more bulk and moved the AV In port to the top from the side.
Both have a fold-out stand in the back, covering the battery pack.
>>3552206
that TV looks really good. Gotta get one of those when i can. Specially when watching football games.
I don't remember the exact situation, but the reception is shitty because I recall having to hold two physically incompatible cables up to one another to get the connection ... and take the photo.

Anybody do this pointless bullshit?
There's somethingcomfyabout tiny-izing console games
>>3553219
Also whoops, mistook this thread for being in /v/.
>>3553221
>Gamecube
>not retro
I'm sorry?
>>3553234
Sorry kiddo why don't you just mosey on back to /v/?
>>3553203
it'll need some tweaking to watch TV on it sadly, it became obsolete with the digital conversion.
>>3551268
I don't know. Can you?
>>3553234
im sorry mario sunshine is not retro kiddo. i dont make the rules.
>>3551292
Trust one of you 5 inch screen idiots to be playing suikoden.
>>3553254
I dont think there is any mini add on atsc tuners.
I also have an NHJ Portable Television Watch, but it only takes OTA signals. Need to find me a transmitter cheap.
>Hey mike, what kinda' TV is that?
>It's a Sony (tm)
>>3552785
I'll trade you my 9" PVM for your 14"
>>3553234
Rules that were made 6 years ago when 6th gen was actually not entirely retro. Now it is but rules are rules and these cucks are happy with it.
Chan should at least give us /vr+/ that, if it existed and let us have 6th gen as well as early 2000 pc games, would most likely take over this shit board in weeks.
>>3554439
>Instant cerebral flashback.
Stop it you.
>>3554406
open it up, remove the antenna connections to the headphone jack and solder them to a mono 3.5mm jack. Plug a mono 3.5mm to type f connector in and hook up consoles via RF
>No input
What do?
>>3554638
tape the RF output cable of your console on the antenna.
>2.2" screen
>Magnifies to 3.7" with hooded magnifier
I want one.
>>3551459
what resolution is that screen?
>>3555671
240/480i ntsc Most likely
>>3551268
Too big, boring.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WY7olqQF8iM
Interesting thread.
>>3551268
>can i hunch over a 5" screen to play my precious?
>>3552181
The TV source probably allows for an external ariel. If so, it accepts input so you could play games on it. If you hate yourself.
Although... I don't see how you're supposed to tune channels in, so maybe not, unless one of the preset channels just happens to coincide with a console's output.
>>3552181
>>3552776
>>3561537
it has a composite and I'm guessing mono 3.5mm audio input, it will accept any 240p/480i console output.
Here's a 7" LCD under cabinet tv via RF, it's not trbl, stuck @16:9 though because I don't have a remote. that is worse than the rf imo.
>>3561537
any NTSC tv has channel 3 and 4, and ntsc console/adapters output to ch 3 or 4 which the tv can tune to, the same way a home tv hooks to via RF.
