ITT: Games only you played
What makes you think you're the only one who played Albion?
At least pick Amberstar or Ambermoon but even those were translated to English and on common platforms.
>>3530631
I think quite a few people played Albion. I know I played the demo (from a PC Gamer CD) way back when. Hell, you can even buy the game on GOG.
I don't know anyone who's played pic related. I wasn't any good at it, I don't think I even got past the first stage.
>>3530631
This game can go fuck itself.
>>3530890
I played that! It was like a sci-fi Soviet Strike, but on PC. Loved it!
>>3531305
Holy shit I've played that. What the fuck was it called?!
Critical Depth on the PS1
Basically Twisted Metal but with submarines
>>3531387
Battle Beasts. I've also played it.
I never hear anyone talk about this game. Didn't get to beat it when I was a kid but I really liked it.
>>3531513
Canon is the least of Pagan's problems. It's unfinished, has terrible controls and many poor design decisions.
It's not what ruined the series, it's a symptom. What ruined the series was EA.
>>3531513
you say cuck too much
>>3531535
>It's unfinished
Like a lot of RPGs
See: Fallout 2
>has terrible controls
Didn't bother me. I got the Slayer's Mace when I was just a dumb kid.
>and many poor design decisions.
Arcanum has the worst combat system in a CRPG to date yet it still gets loved by homos with no taste
>>3530641
Because 4chan is not a place for old people like us. We should be respectable family men by now.
>>3531557
I'm not interested in defending FO2 but I don't remember abrupt jumps in the story.
Pagan doesn't really have many nice things you can say about it. The animations are neat but they took many compromises such as restricting the looks of the Avatar or focusing on flashy cut scenes.
The basic premise is interesting but you barely get to see anything of it.
>>3531158
I just quickly YouTubed the ending to that game a few days ago just to finally lay it to rest
I really liked the hand mechanic as a kid
That and Mickey Mania were unforgiving
I don't even remember what it was about. I think it was alright, I don't remember it being boring or anything
Still have this
>>3533078
A friend told me you had to fight enemies to level up. After grinding for One hour I found out that you had to defeat the bosses to level up
I remember the floppy disk had handwritten on it "Delicious 3D game"
>>3533078
I played demo for that. It was action-adventure game where you could do sword moves using mouse movements.
>>3531158
that filter is absolutely hideous
>>3533256
shoot the seagulls.
>>3533078
Loved that game, and it had great graphics.
>>3531436
Fun game, 7th Level had some cool stuff.
Little Howie ftw
Conquest of the Crystal Palace. Fantastic game with oddly little attention.
>>3534107
>that filter
>>3530631
Nobody on this board played this.
>>3530631
>ITT: Threads only you started
>ITT: Games millions of people played
le ebik fail
>>3534103
Holy shit I had completely forgotten about this game until now, thank you anons.
I think it came free with a pc that my dad got for the family... Windows 95 maybe.
>>3534812
Box
>>3530631
Which game is this? Art reminds me of Land of Lore.
>>3535239
Albion
>>3530631
Dark Legions

>>3533256
>>3535395
THAT'S THE WAY YOU DO IT, PLAY THOSE RETRO GAMES ON YOUR CRT
>>3531158
>goofys-hysterical-history
i didnt even know this game existed
>>3533591
Die by the sword was also got great mouse movement sword fight. You can cut of the enemies arm, pick it up and play "why are you punching yourself".
>>3535596
What shitty DN3D TC is that?
>>3535607
That's Liquidator.
It's an unauthorized Build game which was sold in stores exclusively in Russia.
But you're right, it's more of a shitty DN3D TC with many elements remaining the same like enemy AI, some textures and etc. It has only 6 levels containing some of the most convoluted level design ever made in FPS complete with a keycard which spawns twice in the same secret place.
It has it's charm though.
I'm going to assume you played and friends didn't.
>>3530631
Dude, everyone and their mother played Albion here in Germany when it came out.
>>3531305
I played that shit
>>3533591
I played demo for that too. You could cut off arms and legs and such, controls were kind strange
>>3536269
I played the shit out of the demo many years ago.
Emulated it recently and it... somehow kept crashing my emulator.
>>3530656
I played and liked it.
>>3530890
Didn't know there was a 3D version
Who MOM here?
>>3538384
Played it recently and got crushed by computer. I'm not as good as in old times. I was never good anyway.
>>3538414
It's a game where there's a handful of really powerful strats, and everything else is useless. For example, my favorite strategy is to pick 11 Life spellbooks, start the game with the spell Altar of Battle, and cast it as soon as possible.
>>3530631
>implying Albion is obscure
>>3538983
looks like a Supaplex ripoff
>>3531305
Oh yeah, I had a bundle of 7th Level games on one CD. There was Aracede America, some really weird Monthy Python themed baseball game and Akranoid clone and Battle Beasts. Maybe something more, can't remember right now.
This fucking game. It's also called Blupi if I remember correctly. It wasn't a very good game, but it was the first game with a level editor I had ever played. I probably dumped hundreds of hours into this game just making levels.
>>3538983
This fucking game.
We used to have a sort of play room in our school where kids mostly went to wait for their parents.
This fucking game, Prince of Persia and Commander Keen 4 were da shit.
The true power of VGA
This game.
And a fantastic game too.
>>3533078
That was a really decent game. I got fairly far into it and then just stopped playing it. Maybe I should go for it again. I remember a boy and his grandpa travelling and kicking arse, then boy being alone and gathering a band of adventurers.
>>3539798
Gore: Ultimate Soldier... pretty nice game! especially in Multiplayer.
Braveheart.
Obake anyone?
Microman. I've never seen anyone else mention this game
>>3539108
I also played this
The graphics were really easy to edit.
>>3539108
I remember this game! When I played it as a kid, it was called Speedy Eggbert. Not sure if it varied regionally.
>>3531403
I played it and loved it. I remember buying it before a family holiday and just reading the manual over and over for 2 weeks excited for the holiday to end so that I could play it.
>>3530641
Ambermoon was a fun game. It was released on DS in Germany. I would probably kill for a handheld version that controlled well.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NrEZILY47A
I rented this from Iggle Video in Ohio. I had to return it because disc 2 was so badly scratched, it was unplayable. Both the cashier and my father were deeply confused by this. Luckily I was able to swap it out for a fresh copy, after autistically explaining the situation.
To this day, I believe those are the only 2 copies of that game in America.
Who #Reldni here?
Jet Fighter II for Dos.
My dad bought us a 486/66 computer in early 1994 and this was the first game I found in a huge ass bin of Dos games. PC gaming was so foreign to me because I was used to NES games and their usual 25-45 dollar price tag. Dos games were cheap as hell.
This game also had 3-d which was really cool at the time.
>>3531147
you are not alone anon, and thats a great game
>>3538983
Infotron? WTF? that piece of shit can burn in hell forever, supaplex is a legendary game.
I never could beat any of them.
Also got Kwik Snax, which was fun as hell, even if it is just a C64 version of Flicky. With weapons. And with ragtime music.
>>3531557
The turn-based combat was fine, if somewhat obtuse about how many little green dots an action used. It was the real-time combat that was garbage. And the game balance - I'm not going to defend that. Anyone who tried to play a technologist character was fucked straightaway.
>>3536246
You're not alone anon! I played this too.
>>3543453
Oh come on, everyone and their dog knows Robbo.
Then again, I see that version for the first time, it's always been the hi-res EGA one or the original Atari for me.
>>3543939
Nope.
the guy from zero punctuation (the guy that invented the PC master race by accident in a video) mentions it constantly.

>>3538384
>Old man! They tell me you seek the spell of Mastery...
F*cking Merlin! Always researching the webs of magic for a cheat spell!
>>3530631
Carmen Sandiego is nice and all, but where's the love for pic related?
>>3530663
I played this all the time as a kid.
This game taught me that platinum is more valuable than gold.
This one. I couldn't find an LP on this wonderful game, so I thought I'd go ahead and start one myself.
