I find it funny how goofy the Bayou Billy cover looks compared to the original Mad City artwork, even though they used pretty similar composition.

Hell, even the way they characterized Billy in the JP version is way different too. He doesn't have the silly "Bayou" nickname and he's supposed to be a badass outcast from society who had experience in the Vietnam War, as opposed to the friendly Rajun Cajun they tried to pass him off in the U.S. version

It's also to find out who Tom Dubois is after all these years, since his style was pretty distinct among Konami of America's promotional material, but I wish the interviewer didn't disparaged the equally awesome output that Konami's Japanese artists were doing at the time.

Quite frankly, I think the Contra Spirits artwork is just as awesome as its Contra III counterpart, even if they turned Lance/Sully/Mad Dog (whatever the fuck Player 2's name is) into a white guy for no reason.
