Does anybody actually like this crap? How has it held on so long?

It's fun for a while if you play it in a group.

Non-retro version is better, just don't play it on your own. The game literally insults you for having no friends.

Does anybody know what happened to the Japanese release?
It was announced but I don't see any indications that it was ever released.
