Anybody else hype for an Official Nintendo-made reproduction of the NES controller?
Little annoyed that it plugs into those shit Wii Remote connectors, but an adapter will probably be out in a flash.
I personally wish they'd make the dogbone designs available too. I find the original box controller rather uncomfortable, but the dogbone is super comfy.

Why not just use the SFC game pad?
I hope they do a reproduction of the others as well.

You can ask that about the box reproductions too. Why even bring that up? We're talking about official reproductions here, not substitutes for them.

Nintendo released an official Super Famicom controller for the Wii.

Y THO

Eh, I'm from burgerland anyway. I don't think we ever got such a product.

I have this and it's tight as heck. buttons are less mushy than my sfc controllers but I assume that's just because it's newer, same level of quality and nothing obviously different about the design.

the adapter that already exists should be fine, right?
i'm not personally hype for these controllers simply because i got stupidly lucky and found a mint in box nes pad at fucking half price books of all places. it's good to see more first party ones getting made either way
$10 is a pretty reasonable price to boot.
They could have easily been assholes and doubled or tripled that.
Kind of weird they would both acknowledge emulation controllers and price competitively with them and yet still not make it USB.

No. The controller may be iconic, and it looks rad in a funky retro way. But that d-pad is fucking woeful to use.

I hate the NES controller, way too square. They should make a Famicom instead, the controllers were rounded and shit.
I don't get why nobody makes the connection
Bluetooth connection, that is
