Which Neo Geo BIOS should I use?

Weird. Is that FBA? I had similar problem, but alas I don't remember how I fixed it. Try using ver 2.3. Also, open up your neogeo.zip and see if you have unibios files at all.

Actually I forget. You could try downloading UniBIOS from the official site and putting the file inside of neogeo.zip, but don't quote me on this

On the splash screen, you can press A+B+C to access the menu. You can select MVS/AES from it and the region.

During gameplay, press select+start (or coin+start) to access dipswitches/cheats.

That's the gist of it

got it. Changed the bios on one game, loaded up a different game, forgot to change bios again.

You can simply choose unibios, set region to US, then go to cheats and turn on blood/bouncy Mai. This way you will have English text of course.

I forget if it was possible to choose English from AES game menus.
