Was pre-crash Atari the best developer ever?
>>3476746
80s Nintendo is the only dev I can think of that might have been stronger.
>>3476749
How the fuck does she play those NES games if she superglued them to her fucking wall.
>>3476758
She dont, shes a model who scoffs at nerds then dates pretty boys.
>>3476758
they are for decoration
do you actually play nes games in 2016 or do you just shitpost on /vr/
>>3476758
Believe it or not I think those games actually get played. You can see on the left wall where some are down that they're Velcroed up.
> Also dem fucking black Tengen carts breaking up the consistency
>>3476749
Couldn't they have put an actual game over screen instead of photoshopping one on?
>>3476806
Wouldn't the velcro pad get in the way when you try to use it?
>>3477001
They appear to be pretty near the top of the cart if anything it'd probably keep them from shifting around in the console

>Was pre-crash Atari the best developer ever?
ITT: Questions children in 2016 will ask unironically
No. Here's a top five list of game developers.
1. Taito
2. Sega
3. Psygnosis
4. Irem
5. Data East
>>3476746
Activision
No, Namco, like always
>>3476746
>pre-crash
which one, the "lets-kill-the-whole-fuckin-industry" shovelware fiasco
or the one where they get bought out by INFOGRAMES
i think alot of the good games for atari systems were not made by atari themselves, exept for things like Yar's Revenge and Adventure
>>3480318
Pretty much all the best guys from way way back then split off and formed Activision though.
>>3480318
I think he's referring to the North American home console market crash in 1983.
>>3480318
i had this for both PC *and* jaguarpc version was better
>>3480515
>that crash was caused due to countless assloads of shovelware
No, it was caused by dumb consumers. Computer games were mostly shovelware and did not require any approval, they still don't. It's just that Americans were stupid.
Fuck no, that was Activision. Too bad they themselves became shit in the late 80s.
>>3480616
Computer games also didn't require purchase. More people in local scenes were more familiar with more titles because most copies were pirate.
>>3480725
Atari was WAY better.
I think Berzerk would make a fun arena FPS where you and a number of other people start at different spots of a huge maze filled with killer robots and zappy walls but with wallrunning and a focus on vertical movement like in titanfall. Slap on a very minimalist berzerk aesthetic with big booming versions of the original sound effects and voice lines. I feel like it'd be fun.
>>3476746
No. It was NAMCOT.
>>3482767
Eh...
>>3476749
>multiple copies of SMB/Duck Hunt
hipster scum detected
>>3483216
The most uncommon game I could spot in the picture is mega man 2, which is hardly rare. It's almost all bargain bin tier stuff.
>>3476749
I've noticed that lateral thumb in a few pictures. Is that an American thing? A southern thing? Or just people with not finger flexibility?
A better question. Why were the covers so fucking rad?
>>3483679
Some set designer just bought a couple nes lots on ebay and called it a day.
>>3476749
>NES isn't even on
>>3484906
Good question
>>3484906
>>3486381
Not Atari themselves but nothing beats demon attack.
>>3486296
It's like sluts dont even care about retro games or the gamers
>>3486964
>Not instantly recognizing those dollar store dinosaurs with plane wings glued on and spray-painted chrome.
Man, the shit people coked outta their minds came up with back in the 80's.
