It's good for the somewhat better comfort holding it but the circle D-pad thing is kinda weird to use. Make sure if you buy one, clean it out as there could be dirt that causes it to stick.

I have a USB retrolink N64 controller which is pretty decent.

The dpad is pretty cheap (read the left side is stuck down), but the analog stick and buttons are fairly decent.

Actually, I've taken to using it as my default controller, and I've used it for several non-retro games (It works surprisingly well).

Right now I'm playing Twilight Princess with it, and I just got done with Bionic Commando Rearmed.

Can I ask for a recommendation?
I'm looking for a controller to play NES, SNES, N64 and PSX games of all genres basically (mainly rpg, platformers and shooters) on the PC. I live in Italy and my budget is limitless, but I would like to spend not more than 50€ though.
The controller that got my attention are 8bitdo NES30 Pro (40€) and Buffalo SNES (15€), but I'm sure that I missed a good controller somewhere.
My previous controller was a Xbox 360, it worked well, but I'd like a controller with a different, more solid and accurate d-pad.

Wii Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro + mayflash adapter. The adapters are known to break but the kit should only cost around 40 and the dpad is god tier

Got a Sega Saturn controller recently and I love it but this particular controller has a very small chip on the left side of the d-pad and it kind of eats into my thumb. Don't think I can do anything about this other than get another controller. Fuck me.
