Is there a way to play this with the real time clock without having the actual cartridge?
I'm using Higan Accuracy and it resets the clock whenever the game is loaded so I have to use save states to keep my progress.
I don't want to let the emulator run the entire time just so my virtual pet hungers.
Is there a patch that allows the calendar to be set past 2014?

I don't understand why people like this.
Just use Snes9x OP, it actually works.
Yes, I'm talking as someone who played Tengai Makyou on it.

I don't think anyone has been working on hacking this game in four years. So the answernto your second question is likely a big, fat no.
>clock only goes up to 2014
ruined

I've had bad experiences with Snes9x such as text or transparencies not rendering properly. Never had any such problems with Higan.
Well I just tried it on higan v100 or so and it worked without a problem.

What worked? I realized I kept using the old executable since I wasn't used to the new name but the problem of resetting the clock persists.

You can set your system clock to a legal day, start the game with that date and then advance the clock to today.
Setting it to 2096 seems to be too much but for now it should work.
I wish the translation for this game wasn't in limbo.
