> The feel of being in high school in 2000
> Only have 10 bux in your pocket
> Find the new Jampack for $5
> Play demos for the next month
> Such a good feeling
>be me circa '00-'01
>own DC but few games cuz poor fag
>have subscription to DC mag
>come home from school to find mag w/demo disc on kitchen table once a month
>dat feel when I don't leave my room for the rest of the day just playing demos
The DC was last console I truly cared for. Everything after just never had the same appeal.
I played the Tomba and Jersey Devil demos sooooo many times.
I remember there was a hidden demo for Pitfall 3-D on the PS1. The demo was REALLY well done and fun as hell. The final game wasn't that good.

>play Tony Hawk on the Pizza Hut demo disc to death
>so good at it that when I finally find it in a bargain bin for $10 I beat the whole thing in one sitting minus gaps because I still find those pointless
>coincidentally Pro Skater 2 was going to come out in two week
>unable to beat the whole game under a day because I wanted to unlock all of the cheats with each character
>Life spirals out of control and buy every single PS2 Tony Hawk game including the 7th gen ports
Demos can be very powerful tools when used correctly, I swear.
Played this shit out of these.
