Mega man weakness logic
>Metal man weak against his own weapon..

I'm pretty susceptible to my own weapons too desu
I like how people always bring up Metal Man being weak against his own weapon but at the same time seem to forget that all robot masters in Mega Man 3 are also weak against their own weapons.

I don't have a problem with this. it's easy enough to take him out with the buster or quick boomerangs.
I think bubbleman should not have been weak to metal blade, it completely nerfed him. if you fight him with the buster he's actually a respectable boss, in spite of what everyone says.
Makes sense. Those blades are diamond tipped. It would even break an ancient Japanese katana, folded over 1000 times.
>Ariga: Another thing I’ve wondered about for awhile: why can you kill Metal Man in two hits with the Metal Blade?! Was that actually in your planning docs? I remember being momentarily stunned when I discovered this… then I burst out laughing! There’s never been another boss like that before or since. It was really memorable.
>Kitamura: That was written into the planning docs, yes. It’s a “hidden trick.” In the old days, if your game didn’t have any secrets, it was difficult to get it featured in the various gaming magazines. Also, there’s the secret in Mega Man 2 where you can change the stars to birds in the boss select screen—that was added for the same reason.
