A classic question to which the answer is "probably". We have 120v AC (110 in practice) and theirs is only 100v. Most Japanese shit does work off our power. If it starts to get reallyhot to the touch, at that point use your best judgement. It won't hurt your N64 unless it physically melts something just from convection.
I've heard all Jap electronics will work fine but I don't have the balls to try it.
Will it work? Yes.
Is it optimal? Technically, no.
If you have the availability, should you use a console of any region in any country with a power supply belonging to that country? Absolutely.

You could buy a US PSU for that N64 and use that.
I use a European PSU in mine and it works fine. I'm not sure what the long term effect is tho.
