What's your favourite game based on the Alien franchise?
I feel like replaying Alien Trilogy since I never beat it. Any main difference between the DOS, PS and Saturn versions?

I was 16 when trilogy first came out. Back when blockbusters rented games I tried to complete it before returning it, played it almost solid for 3 days straight. Fucked me up, was hearing the motion tracker when I was trying to sleep and was always on edge.

always bugged me that the pistol bullets fly so slow

Is it just me or is the Ps1 version of this game really freaking dark? No matter what I do with my system settings and tv settings it still seems too dark to see anything
AvP Arcade and AvP 2 for PC are fantastic and maybe some of the best Alien related games out there.

The Atari ST had stonking great main menu theme music.
Alien Ressurection on PS1 any good?

That screen grab looks sweet

My choice
Frigging hard game, I haven't died so far but I'm always low on health.
Very moody musics. Some cool graphics. Weapons firing is a little weird, very fast.

> too dark to see anything
I would imagine that is the point, m8. The the devs REALLY don't want you to be able to see no brightness settings will save you.

While we're into Alien inspired themed that didn't want to pay for the licence, there is also Enemy Zero on Saturn and DOS.
That game was pretty much Alien Isolation 20 years before.
Goddamnit this game is hard. Playing on normal difficulty and enemies are damn fast, can deal tons of damage in no time, and on the other hand supplies can be very tight.
I always liked the graphics on Alien 3 for the Master System. Haven't really played since I rented it as a kid though, and I remember back then it used to freak me out

Alien Syndrome is one of the best "not-Alien" games.

It's even better when I don't forget the fucking image.
Alien on a forklift.
Holy shit this game

I had SMS Alien 3 too. Funny how small the maps look when presented like this. As a kid I thought this level was huge.
Wow, FUCK this level.
This game has quite a few notable features though. Some 3D architecture, the kind of which games like DN3D (which came half a year later) couldn't do. It also did protagonist one liners before DN3D. Every pick-up item is a 3D model. The last few levels are all around a main hub level.
But yeah FUCK this level.

I never did finish it. Always got killed somehow (even tho I killed it at training) and I ended up running out of saves.
Alien Virus also deserves to be mentioned

Yeah Enemy Zero is fucking hardcore. I didn't really like how the difficulty settings worked btw. In Normal I constantly had to backtrack for ammo, but on easy it's like there was no enemy if you knew the shortest path to the next room.
Alien Ressurection looks cool, but gameplay kinda sucks in the first level. Does it get any better or should I just move on?
I liked AvP 1 & 2's alien gameplay. Plot was nice, too. First one had you end up on Earth after jumping a bunch of ships. Tried 3 but couldn't get into it.
Anyone play aliens on the c64?
