How were you supposed to beat Psycho Mantis in this version?

Shoot and destroy the statues on the west and east side of the room, then you can hit him. You can do this in the PS1 version as well, it's faster and easier if you ask me.

You can use first person view to find him. For that fight only, it will show Mantis's PoV instead of Snake's.

You don't even have to use the controller exploit, and never did.

This may surprise you but the whole "I can read your every move" thing was completely removed in the PC version. You just keep playing like normal and he will be always complaining that he "can't read you." The codec conversations won't even refer to having to change to another controller port.
