RRT4 is such a goddamn great game that any flaws with this game make me think "what the fuck were they doing", or more specifically "why the fuck do I need to lose races on purpose to further my completion percentage." I don't know if that is the worst flaw, or whether the lack of a checklist is. Team x Manufacturer x Race 1 x Race 2 x Race 3 x Race 4. Look at how many goddamn outcome possibilities there are. Who the fuck came up with this?

R4 is great, my personal fav though is pic related.

I found R4 slightly daunting to start with, while Rage Racer had a good mix of arcade fun and progression with buying and upgrading vehicles. Both have top notch soundtracks but Rage's jungle and drum&bass is just amazing to behold.
