What are some good /vr/ mystery/whodunnit games? Kamaitachi no Yoru had a great atmosphere and tone to it, and I want more of that feeling.
I'm also playing this right now, which has a similar feel to it, but I want something more on the side of "trapped in a cabin, trying to figure out who the murderer is"
It isn't a trapped scenario, but Famicom Tantei Club part 2 for SFC is pretty good. Great music and graphics too. The first one is only on FDS (not translated) so maybe it's good too but idk.

I've heard the FDS one recommended before, I'll check it out.
The Portopia Serial Murder Case.
Nonomura Byoin no Hibibito

Man that game's sound effects hurt my ears.
The J. B. Harold series
I just got the Twilight Syndrome games and Moonlight Syndrome. Haven't played them yet but I think they're up that alley. Need to know Japanese though. Also some of the first games Suda 51 worked on.

They really need to translate these games.

Here you go
i'm not exactly a fan of the vampire genre anymore but i'd still recommend this. it plays like a western movie which you are a detective trying to uncover the secret behind the vampire killings. i recall it was particularly difficult (never beaten it) because traveling to the wrong location or bringing the wrong item with you just wastes time or straight out gets you killed.

At least SC is considering releasing it on Steam

What does that change? You get one more version of one game with a questionable translation and then you're back to square one.

Is the current one bad?
