Replaying FF:VI

Depends on your situation. If you have the means to play it on SNES then do so, if you have a gameboy with a back lit screen then play it that way, if you can deal with the load times of the PS1 edition then play it that way.

GBA has terrible sound. PS1 has load times.

Just emulate the SNES version.

How's the GBA translation (Woolsey should be arrested honestly)? And does the sound patch really restore it to SNES levels? A friend of mine wants to play it but I really don't know what version to recommend as I played the original japanese version. I swear I'm not Ken-sama.

If you go with the SNES version, be careful of the sketch bug. It can corrupt your save files.

If he is emulating then he can do the sound patch, which makes it sound similar with included music steam for the opera part, and the one that restores the darker colors of the original.

If you wanna give him a little Woosely there's a patch that just includes the memorable lines from the translation. There is also one that improves the tiny ass font.

The most faithful translation I've found atleast from what I've read was FF6 Improvement Project but it's buggy. Any translation you can recommend?
