Favourite retro controller thread? I have pic related and it's amazing for fighters.

People think I'm crazy, but I can do better and faster fighting motions like dp, qcf-hcb and 36 motions way easier on the tiny Dreamcast pad than any other or stick I've ever used.

Seconded. I've had a DC for a long time, and the DC controller is the king of pads for racing games.
The triggers on both of my DC controllers are extremely tight and springy, and offer a huge range of motion for acceleration and brake.
Capcom fighter stick MD. Picked this up brandnew on ebay a couple of months ago. Comes with a seimitsu LS32 stock. How cool is that?

I think you're crazy
I use a ps1 namco 6 button stick for most stuff. I've got my hori stick wired up to mega drive at the moment

i'm jealous desu

HRAP V3 SA? That's the basis for the stick I have hooked up to my Genesis at the moment. Weird. Namco stick is surprisingly solid as well. Do you use adapters or multiconsole mod?

The buttons are a hair below the neogeo oldstyle stick buttons. Not as bad as people claim.
Is the Sega Saturn controller good for fighters? Been using a PS2 controller which works tolerably enough but I think I could do better and I'm not sure if I want to invest in a stick just yet because it sounds like I'm going to have to plunk down at least $150 to get something that won't fall apart in a year.

Look out for a Hori Fighting Stick PS.
Mine cost £15/~$20us and I'm pretty sure I'll fall apart way before it does.
