Lol
Beautiful cinematic presentation without any disruptions to the flow of gameplay and a nearly seamless 5th gen transition for such a classic series.

Same for me, amazing game.
The Raiden Project is some of the best shit on the PSX.

Hell yeah motherfucker.
>>3399368
It's a shame the sound quality for the original arcade soundtrack is so fucked for some bizarre reason. It's seriously distracting once you notice how much change there is between the two.

Yeah, because having access to boss rush mode is so worth it when the slowdown trivializes every single boss that posed any sort of significant challenge. You stupid fuck.

>muh hyperbole
>>3399398
The slowdown really isn't that bad in the ps1 version of G Darius. It's really only noticeable when the game is loading the next segment (towards the end of the first half of the level and just before the boss shows up). During the boss fights I find the game runs pretty smoothly.

The fish isn't the bait. What a retarded image.

What? I thought you liked them over resurrecting.
>>3401291
Resurrecting instantly is better.
Games with checkpoints usually have shitty bosses to compensate for the checkpoint system.
>>3399259
wow, haven't heard of this game, i'll have to try it

>Games with checkpoints usually have shitty bosses to compensate for the checkpoint system.
Play the japanese version of Raiden or Toaplan games, you'll get fucking raped by the bosses.

Woah hold up there, I think you fall under a different audience.
>>3404585
Yeah, the audience that likes to see shmups evolve beyond being awful Gradius and R-Type clones.
>>3399640
Happy now?

This is so fucking good. It's fun as hell to play 2 players.
